MINISTRIES

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity. – 1 Timothy 4:12
WHY ARE WE INVOLVED IN MINISTRY?

The Christian should minister by meeting people's needs with love and humility on Christ's behalf (see Matthew 20:26; Mark 10:43; John 2:5,9; Acts 6:3; Romans 1:1; Galatians 1:10; Colossians 4:12). Christians are to minister to others out of their devotion to Christ and their love for others, whether the other people are believers or unbelievers. Ministry to others should be impartial and unconditional, always seeking to help others as Jesus would.
RADIO MINISTRY

CLEAN START BASKETS
Baskets are filled with cleaning and hygiene products for people at Safe Harbor (website) who may not have access to such needed items by other means. Funds for this ministry are provided by donation and collections from aluminum can recycling.

CANCER CARE BLANKETS
This ministry was initiated by Alf Lange, a church member battling cancer who commented on how cold cancer treatment centers were. The ladies of LWML have been working diligently on fleece blankets to give to patients as needed in remembrance of Alf.

CHRIST'S KIDS LEARNING CENTER
Christ's Kids serves our community by providing quality Christian education that impacts the spiritual growth of young children. Our Christian-based curriculum introduces children ages three to four to the alphabet and related sounds, numbers 1-20, shapes and colors. Children learn how to socialize with others in a Christian manner. All daily activities are based on sound education and Christian principles appropriate for age.

We look forward to the opportunity to reach out into our community with God’s Word and a loving
Christian example.
